History:

• Since 2003 to 2008 a small business with local communities of the Maya Culture in the Yucatan Peninsula flourished to commercialize honey products in the Mayan Riviera of Quintana Roo, from Cancún to Tulum with retail stores in the 5th avenue and a wholesale distribution to hotel boutiques. Thus providing the necessary knowledge about the natural products in the area and the national and international markets.

• In 2008 Velta Foods International S de RL de CV was established to serve the national and international honey and natural food markets, working together with local producer associations that guaranty the quality and quantity of the Clients Demand.

 

Our Staff:

An interdisciplinary group of professionals specialized in the areas of Community Sustainable Development, Financial and Business Development, International Commerce, Natural Foods, Honey Products and the Local Maya Culture.

Our Sustainable Practice:

We visit each producer at their towns and homes creating collection centers that provide direct attention to the quality of the products and ensure a virtuous economic production net within the Yucatán Península and rest of México´s producer communities and associations.
